Agility classes are held on Wednesday evenings. Your instructor will advise you which day and time your class is.
Foundation agility
This class is for young dogs from 12 months on. The emphasis in this class is on having fun with your dog, building on play drive and creating a good relationship between owner and dog. This course is an introduction to some agility equipment using various tunnels and hurdles. The basic skills of sit, stay and getting the dog to wait continue to be used in this class.
It is a pre-requisite that dogs have completed the domestic obedience class and passed as owners must have reasonable control of their dogs.

Beginners agility
This class is for dogs that have completed the foundation course. This is an introduction course for dogs that are new to agility, teaching control exercises and the use of agility equipment including tunnels, hurdles, weaves and contact equipment. This builds on the skills learnt in the foundation class.
Starters agility
For dogs that have completed the Beginners class and can master most of the equipment. This class focuses on building on the skills learnt, increasing the confidence and ability of the handler. Key areas are dogs being able to consistently weave, contact training, segment drills. People in this class begin to compete at ribbon trials or champ shows if they would like to.
Novice, Intermediate and senior agility
Held on Wednesdays, we have classes for those at competition level wanting to better their skills and learn advanced techniques.
